Privacy Policy

Обновлено в августе 2026 · документ публикуется только на английском языке

This policy explains what information is collected when you play a game published by Aleksei Slashchev, and when you visit alexslash.com. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

1. Who is responsible

Aleksei Slashchev, an individual game developer based in Belgrade, Serbia, is the controller of the personal data described here. CHECK if you publish through a registered company, name the company and its registration number here instead.

There is no separate data protection officer. Privacy questions come to me and I answer them myself, at hello@alexslash.com.

2. What this policy covers

The website alexslash.com, and the games published under my name. Today that is Walking Village, which is still in development. CHECK every additional title must be named here when it ships, and each store listing must link to this page.

3. The website

alexslash.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no tracking pixels and has no advertising. Nothing you do on this site is profiled.

The hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, which typically record your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user agent. Those logs belong to the host and exist for security and reliability. CHECK name the hosting provider here once it is chosen.

Some pages load a web font from Google Fonts, and links to app stores, Discord, LinkedIn and Telegram take you to services with their own privacy policies. Following a link means that service can see the request.

4. What the game collects

CHECK This section must describe what the shipped build actually does before the game can be submitted to a store. App stores reject listings whose privacy policy does not match the SDKs in the build. Keep the lines that apply and delete the rest:

If the game collects nothing and keeps everything on your device, say exactly that instead. It is a strong thing to be able to say, and it has to be true.

5. Why this data is processed

To run and support the game, to fix crashes and balance difficulty, to keep the game and its players safe from abuse and fraud, and to meet legal and tax obligations. Where advertising or analytics rely on your consent, you are asked for it in the game and can change your answer later in its settings.

6. Who it is shared with

Service providers who process data on my instructions — the store platforms, and any analytics, crash-reporting or advertising providers in the build. It is not sold. It is not traded. It may be disclosed if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. CHECK list the named providers once the build is final.

7. How long it is kept

Only as long as it is useful for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. Diagnostic and analytics data is kept in aggregate or deleted once it stops being useful. Purchase records are kept as long as tax rules demand.

8. International transfers

Providers may process data outside the country you live in. Where that happens, transfers rely on the safeguards the provider offers, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

9. Security

This is a small operation, and it is built that way on purpose: the less data that exists, the less there is to lose. Data in transit is encrypted, access is limited to me, and providers are chosen for their own security practices. No system is perfectly secure, and I will not pretend otherwise.

10. Your rights

You can ask what information relates to you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask to restrict or object to processing, and withdraw a consent you gave earlier. Write to hello@alexslash.com and I will respond. If you are in the EU, the UK or Serbia, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.

11. Children

CHECK If a game is rated for children or is likely to attract them, this section must say so directly and commit to no behavioural advertising and no data selling, alongside the minimum age that applies where your players live.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are announced in the game before they take effect.

13. Contact

Any question about this policy, or any request about your data: hello@alexslash.com.

This page is written to be plain and honest. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for review by someone qualified. Before submitting a game to a store, check every line marked CHECK against what the build actually does.
